Organisations and groups delivering youth work
These are specialist, professional organisations that employ trained youth workers to deliver targeted interventions, support and informal education. Their work is guided by youth work principles such as voluntary participation, empowerment, youth led and relationship-building.

Organisations that deliver professional youth work, fostering young people’s personal and social development through trusted relationships, informal education, and youth-led opportunities, maintaining long-term engagement to build skills, confidence, and to guide young people through life’s challenges and to shape their future.
Organisations and groups working with Young People
These organisations have a broader remit and may engage with young people in various contexts, including education, health, social care, and community development. Their work may not be youth work-specific but involves direct interaction and support.

Organisations that engage with young people through direct services or support mechanisms, addressing their holistic needs and contributing to their safety, development, and empowerment.
Organisations and groups providing activities for young people
Offer structured or informal opportunities for young people to engage in recreational, educational, cultural or social activities. They may not necessarily be youth work-focused but still contribute to young people's development.
